On May 5, Gyumri’s Vardanants Square became the venue for a significant cultural event dedicated to the strong friendship between Armenia and France. The open-air concert “Musical Bridge: Armenia–France” brought together approximately 18,000 spectators.
The concert was attended by Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron, President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan, as well as high-ranking officials and state representatives.
The organization and full-scale execution of this significant and large-scale event were entrusted to Gravity Production. The company managed the creative and operational processes, while ensuring the highest standards of safety throughout the event.
Despite challenging weather conditions, the concert maintained a vibrant atmosphere throughout the evening, with a large and engaged audience joining at different moments. Spectators expressed their emotions and appreciation through warm applause, enthusiastic cheers, and their active participation in the celebration.
The concert program consisted of two parts. The first part featured the iconic songs of world-renowned French-Armenian chansonnier Charles Aznavour, performed by the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra under the direction of its Artistic Director and Principal Conductor Sergey Smbatyan, as well as the Armenian National Academic Choir led by Artistic Director and Chief Conductor Hovhannes Chekidjian.
The program also featured performances by renowned French-Armenian singer and songwriter Patrick Fiori, Masha Mnjoyan, and Eric Karapetyan.
The second part of the concert featured performances by French singer-songwriter Joyce Jonathan, Eric Karapetyan, and Tatev Asatryan. The evening concluded with a special performance by DJ Michael Kenjitrot, followed by a festive fireworks display.
