On April 14, the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of its Founder, Artistic Director, and Chief Conductor Sergey Smbatyan, celebrated its 20th anniversary with a landmark gala concert.
The anniversary program featured two distinct artistic segments. The first part showcased classical masterpieces performed by internationally acclaimed pianist Lang Lang, while the second part brought together leading Armenian artists and musicians for a vibrant contemporary music performance.
The event’s creative concept, content development, and end-to-end production were entrusted to Gravity Production.
What began as a single creative vision evolved into a large-scale production that united hundreds of professionals around one shared goal: to create more than an anniversary celebration—to deliver a meaningful cultural experience and a lasting legacy that will remain in the memories of its audience for years to come.
The celebration welcomed approximately 7,000 attendees, becoming one of the country’s most significant cultural events of the year. The audience included distinguished representatives of the local and international cultural community, government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, ambassadors, public figures, and devoted music lovers.
