The World Youth Sambo Championship kicked off with a vibrant and inspiring opening ceremony, bringing together young athletes, coaches, and fans from across the globe. The event showcased a spectacular display of culture, sportsmanship, and unity. Approximately 500 athletes, both male and female, representing more than 23 countries, took part in the championship. These talented young competitors traveled from different corners of the world to demonstrate their skills, dedication, and passion for sambo. The tournament serves as an important platform for emerging athletes to gain international experience, build connections, and showcase their potential on a global stage.
