For the 8th Pan-Armenian Summer Games, held in Gyumri in August 2023, Gravity Production was entrusted with creating the official opening film — a visual prelude to one of the most anticipated celebrations of Armenian sport and unity.
Our goal was to craft more than just an introduction; we aimed to capture the emotion, history, and collective spirit of the Games and present it in a way that would inspire athletes, guests, and viewers worldwide.
We chose to tell it through the eyes of children, blending the innocence of youth with the timeless power of myth.
In the film, a group of children explore a mysterious cave, where ancient writings adorn the walls. There, they encounter the panther — the official symbol of the Games — emerging from the shadows as both a guardian and a guide. The panther joins the children, carrying the spirit of unity, courage, and heritage into the heart of the Games.
Shot with a balance of mystery and wonder, the film fuses Armenian cultural symbolism with universal themes of discovery and hope. Every frame was designed to spark curiosity and pride, making the audience feel part of a story that began long before the Games and will continue long after.
For Gravity Production, this project was more than an opening sequence — it was an invitation for all Armenians, from every corner of the world, to walk together toward a shared future.
