For the 2nd Pan-Armenian Winter Games in 2025, our goal was to create more than an opening film — we wanted to deliver a cinematic story that would capture the spirit of the Games, the beauty of Jermuk, and the timeless relationship between people and nature.
Inspired by the healing waters of Jermuk and the symbolic grace of the stag, we developed an original narrative about transformation, compassion, and harmony.
The story follows a hunter whose encounter with a majestic stag — and the miracle of its healing — leads him to choose respect over instinct.
The production combined live-action cinematography filmed on location in Jermuk’s snow-covered forests and rivers with high-quality animation. Our team designed and animated the stag and other key visual elements to seamlessly blend realism with symbolism, allowing the narrative to flow between the tangible and the mythical.
From concept and script development to casting, filming, animation, and post-production, every detail was crafted to evoke emotion and showcase Armenia’s natural and cultural heritage. The result is a film that opened the Games with a message of unity, strength, and reverence for the land that brings Armenians together from around the world.
